Whether you need rest for a night or two along your journey, a place short term due to relocation, or even long term, Cherokee Campground is the place. With reasonable rates, quiet and safe surroundings, and a simple "home town" atmosphere, Cherokee Campground prides itself in assisting extended-stay and short-term guests.
Originally "Cherokee Beach" and formerly called "Cherokee Kamper Village," long time owner - the late - Sonny Littleton and his family built a successful family oriented business. For years, families enjoyed weekends swimming, an afternoon picnic, and many other activities. Although no swimming is allowed, the 16-acre lake continues to be a focal point for those who camp. Our guests can fish, from the bank only, without an Alabama license. This is a private lake.
Leased and operated by Braxton Enterprises, Inc. the park continues to provide a family-focused place for short term and extended-stay camping.
Throughout our years of camping we discovered the camping community to be some of the most honest and patriotic people in the country. We SALUTE those who serve our country.
GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY
